GAME RULES
TEAM FORMAT
Since the teams will be co-ed, each football team must at least have 2 girls on the field playing throughout the game.
Each hurling team has one girl, this girl must be on the playing field throughout the game.
On any day, if a team doesn't have one girl, they can see if they can borrow a girl from another team otherwise they will have to play a player down.
BORROWING PLAYERS
Each team has been assigned between 12 - 14 players. Games will be 7aside.
Teams are only permitted to borrow players if their assigned team has less than 9 players.
Teams can borrow to give themselves a maximum of 10 players on the day. Teams can only borrow players at the same skill grade as those who are absent from their assigned team. (e.g you are missing 3 junior players and 2 beginners. You can ONLY borrow other junior or beginner players.
MATCH TIME
Matches will be played across the pitch with appropriate goals on either end.
Matches will be 10min per half in the group stages
Matches will be 15min per half in the Semi-final and Final
Winners will gain 2 points for a win
A draw will award 1 point
SUBSTITUTIONS
Unlimited substitutions are allowed.
Substitutes must enter from the technical area (half-way line).
Double substitutions are permitted.
Substitutions must only be made during a stoppage in play and the team MUST NOTIFY THE REFEREE before making the change.
RESULTS, EXTRA TIME AND DECIDER
In the event of teams finishing on level points on the group league table, the aggregate highest scores for and against will decide on who is placed highest.
In the event of a draw in the semi-final stages, the game will then be decided on sudden death penalties, where only the first kick/puck shall count (i.e. no rebounds etc). Penalties shall be taken 11m from goals.
In the event of a drawn final, extra time of five minutes each way will be played. If at the end of this period the teams are still on equal scores, penalties will decide the winner.
THE DECISION OF THE SEVENS COMMITTEE WILL BE FINAL
