San Francisco GAA is proud to celebrate one of our own, Mark Gorman, as he takes on the prestigious role of Grand Marshal for this year’s San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade. A dedicated Board Member of the United Irish Cultural Center (UICC) and an active leader in the Irish community, Mark has long been a champion of Irish culture, heritage, and sport in the Bay Area.

Mark’s leadership and commitment to strengthening the Irish community have been evident through his work with the UICC, his involvement in cultural initiatives, and his unwavering support for Gaelic games in San Francisco. His selection as Grand Marshal is a well-deserved recognition of his contributions and a testament to his dedication to preserving and promoting Irish traditions.
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade, one of the largest and most vibrant celebrations of Irish heritage on the West Coast, will take place on Saturday, March 15th in downtown San Francisco. The parade serves as a moment to honor the legacy of the Irish in the city and highlight the individuals who continue to keep that spirit alive.
We look forward to seeing Mark lead the parade and encourage all members of the San Francisco GAA community to come out and show their support. Congratulations, Mark, on this incredible honor!
